2024…What A Year!

2024 was the Year that Fashion-Enter Ltd…

+ Won Postcode Innovation Trust funding to pivot the business towards reprocessing and repairs

+ Relocated FCFTA Leicester to a new central premises re-named Fashion Hub

+ Worked with partners United Repair Centre on 5505 repairs in 12 months

+ Welcomed 1504 individuals from education or industry on our Factory Uncovered seminars, CPPD’s and tours

+ Won bids with Circle8 the New Fashion Fix, plus Skills Bootcamp and UKFPF in Leicester

+ Taught skills in stitching, patterns and production across three locations

+ Visited Number 10 Downing Street to promote Made in the UK and became a member of the Fashion Roundtable board

+ Collaborated on projects supported by the King’s Foundation 

+ Opened a major etail account in the factory, worked with over 50 micro brands in the Fashion Studio, and started a new program to re-commercialise deadstock 

+ Worked with Islington Council to provide repair and upcycling classes for the local community

+ Welcomed 20 Commonwealth parliamentarians for a presentation and tour of FEL’s factory and education facility

+ Supported and worked with the first cohort on the HOPE-FX project, which was shortlisted for a HSJ Award

+ Hosted the AI in Fashion Conference aligning tech advancement with sustainability

+ Supported NPTC Group of Colleges and Powys County Council to open Newtown Fashion and Textiles Academy

+ Won, not one, but two Drapers Awards: Sustainable Fashion Champion of the Year and Fashion Supplier of the Year
