Established in 2010, The Fashion-Enter Ltd Factory based in London has gone from manufacturing on average 15,000 garments a week for multinationals such as ASOS, Tesco F&F and N Brown, to adapting the business to incorporate repairs, repurposing and recycling.
The Fashion-Enter Ltd Factory is the only UK company that has a leading status in the ethical and technical Fast Forward audit and is also SMETA audited. Core production centres on womenswear soft separates, in both jersey and woven, being manufactured by a team of highly experienced machinists from multiple countries. A selection of semi-tailored garments is also produced.
The Factory uses an internal system called Galaxius. The Galaxius Management Information System shows complete transparency on who made what and when, providing data on real time standard minutes and earnings. This provides FEL with constant improvements in efficiencies for optimum quality production.
The Factory also undertakes CPPD workshops and educational seminars and tours, enabling retailers and students to understand how an ethical factory operates and highlights how to spot dirty practices, unethical processes and open costings. Many retailers and FE/HE institutions have undertaken these seminars and excellent feedback has been received.
