FEL Secures Social Investment from Postcode Innovation Trust

March 2024: Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) has secured £250,000 from the Postcode Innovation Trust to create a progressive Circular Fashion Factory.

The Postcode Innovation Trust’s Social Investment Programme has been designed to provide sustainable funding for social enterprises within Great Britain, that are looking to positively increase their social and environmental impact.

FEL, is an established social enterprise within the manufacturing and education sectors of the fashion and textile industry. The company has been at the forefront of change and over the last three-year has has invested in new partnerships and strategies that reenforce ethical and sustainable practices.

The £250,000 (50% Grant / 50% Loan) Postcode Innovation Trust funding will create a Centre of Excellence in Circular Fashion. This will include repurposing FEL’s garment factory to a fully equipped repair, recycle and reprocessing unit.

The investment will also allow FEL to support new sustainable fashion businesses to grow through the provision of training, mentoring and support to adapt to a circular fashion model. 

Leading the way, FEL’s Circular Fashion Factory will create new jobs alongside essential re-skilling of current employees on new processes to ensure textile and garment longevity and environmental credibility.
