The label is to be made of polythene and should contain the following information:

OVER PLY BAG LABEL

Use: To be used on over bags containing hanging garment ratio packs.

Size: 15cm x 15cm

Instructions: The label is to be made of polythene and should contain the following information:

• Warehouse address
• Name and address of supplier
• Style number, colour code, size and quality
• Set number
• Market: UK or Export

(If the market is export, the final destination country, e.g. Export Chile, must be specified)

• The information is to be printed onto white paper in black ink, using a method, which will prevent cracking or fading.
• The label should be positioned (wrap around) on the outer edge if the multi/ratio pack, approximately 10cm down from the end of the garment hanger.
• All the labels must be positioned consistently on the multi/ratio pack, to allow a clear visibility both in the truck and in the warehouse.

OVER POLY BAG FOR HANGING GARMENTS

Use: To cover all hanging garment multi/ratio packs.

Size: The size will vary in width, but should at least be 40cm longer than the distance from the top of the hanger to the bottom of the garment. It must be large enough to accommodate garments without crushing, and must allow from the bottom edge of the bag to be folded for sealing.

Instructions: The film used to over-bag should be BHT free (butyl hydroxyl toluene) and conform to the following:

• Low density polythene
• Shroud to be 20 microns
• All the garments inside must be wrapped and labelled individually, and then grouped inside the over bag.
• The over bag should be drawn upwards from the bottom, and sealed using a plastic loop tie around the top.
• The ties should be no more than 200mm long and 3mm wide.
• Tape, elastic bands, or staples must never be used on any occasion.

POLY BAG LABEL FOR HANGING GARMENTS

Use: one label to be used for each hanging garment.

Instructions: The label is to be made of self adhesive paper that adhesive paper that adheres strongly to the surface to which it is attached, and should contain the following information:

• Style number
• Colour
• Size
• Market: UK or Export

(If the market is export, the final destination country, e.g. Export Chile, must be specified)

• The information is to be printed on white paper in black ink, using a method that will prevent crackling or fading.
• The label should be positioned on the right side of the poly bag 25mm from the top of the poly bag. It must be clearly visible.

POLY BAG FOR HANGING GARMENTS

Use: To individually cover all hanging garments (e.g. Coats, Jackets, Skirts, Dresses, Trousers, Blouses)

Size: Width no more than 10cm wider than the garment, when on the hanger. Gusseted film to be used where the bag pressure would cause garment creasing. Length: sealed not more than 15cm below the bottom of the garment. In addition, allowance must be made for the bottom edge of the bag folded for sealing.

Instructions:

• All single garments should be covered in clear poly bag.
• The swing ticket containing the barcode should be visible through the poly bag.
• The poly bag should be BHT free (butyl hydroxyl toluene).
