Order Form

October 5, 2025 - October 5, 2025

If you were at a selling event or visiting a wholesaler the confirmation of order is a useful document.

I have seen at major events new designers picking up orders that they write in notebooks and then say they will confirm the details later. Do not do this! Who is to say that the buyer will go to the next stand and see ’something’ better and then discount/reject your potential order!

At this initial stage such conversations may not be a 100% confirmed order; they may be more of an expression of interest. This Confirmation of Order Form that you can fill in at the time of the meeting which is then also given tothe client before she leaves your stand is a way of trying to firm up the order. Some people actually put on the form Expression of Interest rather than Confirmation of Order but you do need a document to summarise the discussions.

This document is a two piece carbonated form so you keep the copy and the original goes to potential buyer. There is a signature space for the buyer and she needs to fill that in! Normally there are no terms and conditions on the back of the slip because its not a confirmed order…yet!
