Confirmation of Order

September 13, 2025 - September 13, 2025

This is really important and so many designers do not use this documentation.

If you were on a trade stand and an independent boutique wanted to buy a small order there and then, how do you document the order? I have seen new business start-ups write on a note book the details and then say they will be back in touch. Its not professional and such a process would not constitute any form of legally binding agreement. Its not even signed by the potential client.confirmationoforder

So why not have a two ply carbon copy Confirmation of Order sitting on your stand ready to go! You can capture your potential clients details and itemise the order line by line with the price and colour. You can also add in any delivery charges, many new businesses forget to add in a delivery cost and the client will presume that the price is inclusive of delivery costs.

You fill in the Confirmation of Order, you ask the client to sign there and then and you rip off the top copy for the client to keep.

You then can make contact the following week after the show and you are all organised and ready to go!
