The new Alvanon Fit Studio provides access to the most advanced apparel sizing and fit tools for both emerging and established brands.
Inside the Fit Studio, designers and pattern makers for both emerging and established brands have the technology they need to test their garments on full form physical mannequins in a safe and private space, ensuring their collections achieve the best possible fit for their target demographic.

Fresh off the heels of London Repair Week we are thrilled to offer another opportunity to gain essential repair and upcycling skills. Thanks to sponsorship from YOOX Net a Porter, we are able to offer up to 25 individuals a free place on the Repair & Upcycle 1-day Workshop on Friday 21st April.

Get Creative This Spring
This spring (starting next Tuesday 11th April) we have a 4-day stitching and upcycling course that will give you the confidence and ability to carry out clothes making projects at home, or provide an introductory steppingstone to progress further.

Launch your career in Fashion with our New Level 3 Business Design Course
If you are interested in launching your own fashion brand, the new UAL Level 3 Diploma in Creative Practice: Fashion Design and Business course provides an opportunity to explore, develop and extend your creativity with stimulating and challenging study. You will increase your skills and knowledge by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic fashion workplace situations, activities and demands required by industry.

Made in Wales – Well Cool Clothing
Back in 2016 the Fashion Studio supported Kirsty Glynn with her innovative brand Well Cool Clothing for hospital patients. Fast forward to today and we are now making her amazing PJs and clothing at our Welsh Factory in Newtown.
Kirsty said: “It’s funny how life turns full circle, and I’m so happy that Fashion-Enter Wales are making our first sample run on our new children’s range. What can I say, the quality and attention to detail are second to none and as a social business, it’s fitting to be working with people with the same social values as ourselves.”

FCFTA Leicester Delivers Multiply Pilot for the Textile Sector
FCFTA Leicester has proudly delivered a Multiply Pilot Programme for the Textile sector.
Multiply is one of the first programmes funded via the governments UK shared prosperity fund (UKSPF). Multiply is a numeracy based programme and FCFTA created a course specifically for the textile and garment manufacturing sector.
