Thanks to sponsorship from YOOX Net a Porter, Fashion-Enter Ltd is able to offer up to 25 individuals a free place on its invaluable Repair & Upcycle 1-day Workshop.
Attendees can learn how to repair, alter or upcycle existing garments to give them a new lease of life and prevent unnecessary textile waste. The workshop takes place at the fully-equipped FC Designer Workspace in Islington with experienced and friendly tutors on-hand.
The workshop covers:
+ How to thread an industrial sewing machine
+ How to hem a trouser / skirt
+ How to hem a jersey product
+ How to tailor an existing garment to fit
+ Techniques to upcycle and customise an existing garment (from home or available at the Workspace)
+ Unique styling tips and advice from the Net a Porter team

It is time to rethink how we buy and care for our clothing and being able to make good repairs or alternations is a great place to start”
