Next On The Masterclass Agenda
Next week on Thursday 19th August fashion wholesale and brand launch expert Carley Johnson will present her online masterclass ‘How to Build Your Omnichannel Strategy’. This will be the first in a series of four masterclasses and has previously received excellent feedback from attendees earlier in the year.
The following sessions will cover:
What does it take to launch a successful fashion label – 23rd September.
How to produce a high selling product – 21st October.
How to wholesale – 18th November.

Sewing Classes at the FC Designer Collective
On the 4th August we hosted a free sewing masterclass for Islington residents at the FC Designer Collective shop. Aimed at beginners the two-hour masterclass taught learners how to use the industrial sewing machines. Lead by technician and tutor Leyla, she explained how to operate the different machines how to thread the bobbin and simple stitches.
The next two masterclasses take place on 11th and
18th August from 10am – 12pm. Both sessions are currently fully
booked however we will be running the series again throughout September. If you

If you are not based in Islington Leyla also
runs a Saturday Sewing Club from 11am every Saturday at the shop. This is a
drop in session at £20 plus vat per hour where you ask Leyla to teach you any

ASOS Attend Factory Uncovered CPPD Workshop
On the 10th August a group of
sourcing, buying and merchandising assistants from ASOS.com attended the
Factory Uncovered CPPD workshop with Production Director Caroline Ash. With all
10 attendees rating the workshop 10 out of 10 the feedback was excellent and
included:
