CPPD’s and Educational Tours

Yesterday, 23rd November, we welcomed a group of students from the University of Westminster for an educational tour of the factory. The session was tailored to correlate with their course and learning in logistics and supply chain management. Feedback from the tour and seminar was excellent with many of the students giving the session 10 out of 10. One student said: “The seminar was really informative and related well to my course of study.”

Also over this past week we have welcomed teams from George at ASDA and for the first time All Saints for Factory Uncovered workshops. The four-hour workshop gave the participants a unique and invaluable insight into how an ethical factory in the UK operates and what polices and audits are in place for full compliance. Feedback included: “It was great to have a refresh of factory knowledge after 2 years of not being in a factory. The 3D pattern making was fascinating. Really informative. Will recommend!” Dave, Head of Buying.
