Newsletter 4th December 2019
Dear all,
A Very Big Thank-You
This week we are feeling extremely thankful for the continued support that we receive from external fashion businesses. Alvanon, the global innovations company specialising in fit and sizing for the apparel industry, have previously provided Fashion-Enter / FashionCapital bursaries for promising students as well as donating a range of Alfaform technical fit mannequins. This week Alvanon offered our new Tailoring Academy an extensive range of ex-demo stock mannequins, including various sized women, men, children and maternity forms, perfect for ensuring best fit practices. A very big thank-you to Alvanon for this generous donation.
And that’s not all, Sarah Kane founder of the luxury, workwear brand for women, Bow Savile, has very kindly donated lots of fabric and components for our learners at the Fashion Technology Academy and Tailoring Academy to utilise. Ethical and sustainable Bow Savile is all about creating high quality clothing that can be worn time and time again – made at our North London Fashion Studio. Thank-you Sarah!

Jenny showed them around the Factory while discussing the topic of fast fashion v’s slow fashion. The feature is due to air mid-January 2020. More on this in the New Year.
