The team at Fashion-Enter Ltd in Newtown, Wales have started collecting donations for Ukrainians that have been displaced, the U.N. stated that it is now the fastest-growing refugee crisis in Europe since World War II. If you are a Powys local and would like to donate please read this message from the Welsh team…

I think we are all watching the terrible scenes in Ukraine and thinking about how we can help.

Speed Welshpool has a facility to transport goods from the UK to the countries where things are needed most.

With that in mind interested parties are welcome to consider donating urgently needed goods, Speed will then be able to transport the goods from Welshpool to where they are needed most, free of charge.

Nappies
Wet Wipes
Baby Food
Sanitary items
Antiseptic Cream
Oxygen Masks
Dry Food – all kind of instant soups etc made up with hot water
Energy Bars
Thermal Blankets
Sleeping Bags
Raincoats
Personal hygiene products
Toothbrushes and toothpaste
Hairbrushes
First aid equipment
Bandages
Tourniquets to stop blood
Flashlights
Batteries
Plasters

All donations can be left at The Unicorn Hotel Caersws, Bridge Street SY175 but please remember make sure all donations are put in boxes and secure as items may be handled several times before reaching the final destination…many thanks.
