Newsletter 14th December 2016

Dear all,

14 dec visiting the skills standThe team are back from Skills London, the city’s largest careers and education fair, and were inspired by the enthusiasm of the many young adults that visited the Fashion Enter & Fashion Technology stand.

Esme comments:

“The Skills London 2016 event was great fun to attend and I was very happy to advise learners on their future career paths. Many that visited the stand took part in the ‘Design a dress competition’ and I cannot wait to see who the winner will be. I very much look forward to seeing more learners signed up on our Level 3 Apprenticeships and Stitching and Patterns Level 1 and 2 programmes.”

New Perfect Patterns Courses

14 dec pattern cutting studentOur popular and highly informative Perfect Patterns courses will commence again in January. We have two skilled teachers on board, Dawn and Julia, to provide hands-on tuition so that learners can understand how real industrial patterns are made.

Level 1 student Natalia comments: “The Perfect Pattern Level 1 course is really interesting, you start by learning the basics, such as how to take measurements and create simple patterns. You then move on to more complex patterns, already I am able to pattern cut skirts, tops, collars, sleeves, and dresses.”
