Net-A-Porter Bags Best E-Tailer of the Year

Online designer fashion site Net-A-Porter has won the UK Fashion Export Award for best e-tailer. The London based site founded by Natalie Massanet sells top designer pieces from the likes of Marc Jacobs, Diane Von Furstenberg and Paul Smith. Princess Anne, the association’s president, presented Massanet with the award at a lunch ceremony at Mezzo’s this week. Developed over the last four years Net-A-Porter now has a loyal customer base, attracting 50% of its sales outside of the UK. Massanet is said to be “thrilled” on receiving the award and added, “we are doing what many people said would never happen – selling full-price high-fashion over the web.”

Style Addicts Choice – Sass & Bide

Out on the streets of London feminine, light-as-air tops have become the key item to team up with jeans and casual skirts. This week Style Addict picked out this little ruched cotton mini dress from the award winning net-a-porter website. It features short flutter sleeves, frayed edges and is covered in a smattering of glittery little dots. Toughened up with a leather boarder and buckle this little number looks great worn just as it is or over skinny leg denims. Ruched cotton mini dress from Sass & Bide, £275, available at net-a-porter and Selfridges.
