The Profile event is exceeding all expectations!

21-05-2025

Many thanks to Rachel Ward of Fenwicks Bond Street for such an encouraging reception of Profile 4! We are hoping for a strong turnout of buyers across menswear, ladieswear and also Jewellery and Hair from Fenwicks of Bond Street and Brent Cross. Also thanks to Selfridges and a host of independents including Ad Hoc, Vanilla, Hula, DB Inc, Anniverseraire, B&B Leisure and TrendE for confirming attendance too.

This season we have a special press office and VIP lounge set up that has been carefully organised to ensure all our buyers and press are well catered for. We have had some great feedback from the designers too who have been busily networking Profile 4 with their own buyer and press contacts.

It is always difficult to gauge attendance levels. Whilst we are up by over 50% compared to this time last season you can basically never tell until the event actually takes place. All I know is that the merry band of LFF have given the exhibition over 150% to ensure that the event is a huge success.

So all we can do now is enjoy the event and be there for the designers, trade exhibitors, attendees and sponsors. If you need any further information please call the office on 020 8462 1475. Please remember that entrance to the Gala performance on the Monday evening show plus the after show drinks is strictly by ticket only. Please call the office and speak to Hayleigh for further details.

SEE YOU THERE!

Our retail sponsors House of Fraser, Designer at Debenhams and Hobbs are delighted with the progress of the Profile 4 event with over 100 exhibition stands and the strongest review yet of pre-selected designers of ladieswear, menswear and accessories Profile 4 is set to exceed all expectations.
Profile 4 is that much-needed and highly regarded event that bridges the gap between Graduate Fashion Week and London Fashion Week. Three LFW scouts are now on board to review the designers plus The London Fashion Forum have been allocated a stand at the next forthcoming LFW event in September.
It’s not easy for todays designers –  some are brilliantly talented and desperately trying to promote their collections to raise their profiles….that’s just what this event is all about.
With confirmed attendances up over 50% on this time last season Profile is growing from strength to strength because it is simply unique:
It has a choreographed catwalk show….
a static trade event for buyers and press In just four seasons the number of designers have risen dramatically from just 28 to almost a 100!

an exclusive trade exhibition area where all major business support providers in the industry work together.
a competition element whereby each retail sponsor announces a winner at the Gala fashionshow held 8pm on Monday 16th. The                                                                    winner will receive space in each retailers flagship stores.
Also don’t forget to visit the internet cafe at Profile for www.fashioncapital.co.uk the site now receives 1,000,000 hits a month

“We are spinning in the office! The three lines into our office (020 8462 1475) are continuously busy so please be patient if you are trying to get through. Even at this late stage we are receiving trade exhibition stands – a big welcome Alison Lewy from ZIP CoVE – great to have you onboard.”

Regrettably the launch of the Profile Bus was not granted access rights by the event holders at Olympia on 15th and 16th August. Consequently, the LFF regret to inform our numerous buyers and press that we have had to withdraw the facility of the bus between the two exhibitions. Despite our best efforts (we even offered the use of our own traffic marshals) we could not alter the decision of the event holders at Olympia and would like to stress that the withdrawal of the courtesy bus was entirely due to circumstances beyond our control. We sincerely hope that this does not cause any major inconvenience – afterall we were only trying to help the hard pressed buyers and press travelling between the two events!

The line-up of designers is the best ever!
