Grads 2 B – Getting It Right First Time @ Fashion

 

All the students arrived fully prepared with their complete range of T-Shirts each group has produced a minimum of twelve styles for their collection complete with all packaging, branding and marketing plan.

The pre-launch event took place during Enterprise Week which was kindly supported by Liz Ogilvy, Business Development Manager at Kingston College. The night was a success and students from Kingston and Croydon colleges displayed their creative talents at the pamper pod situated in the heart of the busy Centrale shopping centre.

 

 

 

     

 

 

 

 

{mosimage}At the preview event on Thursday the 23^rd November the boutique was packed to the rafters.  The talented Croydon students organised press, family and friends to attend. Special thanks to Tony Bendell, Jenny Knight and Marilyn Willis for attending the preview evening and experiencing the electric atmosphere, within the first 20 minutes of the opening a T-Shirt was sold by design team Amethyst.

 

 

The lady who purchased the T-shirt said:

 

 

“This T-Shirt really caught my eye, the colours and designs are fabulous and the fact that this is the only one in existence made me want to snap it up.”

Over the weekend more T-Shirts have been sold and nothing gives the team at Fashion-Enter a greater sense of achievement than seeing ideas evolve and become a commercial success. This initiative would have been possible without funding from Equal, Croydon Enterprise, Croydon Business as well as the support from Croydon and Kingston Colleges.

On Thursday 14^th December the ‘Getting it Right First Time’ programme with Jenny Holloway will once again commence – this time with students at Salford.
