Zoe Jordan – LFW Day 1

The first piece on the runway started off the fashion week with a bang, with an all in white suit. A heavy wool coat matching trousers and pointed white boots really gave us in an insight as to what the rest of the collection had in store.

The catwalk featured mod silhouettes with broad structured shoulders, garments ranging from printed overload on the trousers, to crisp white Tshirts with black sleeves or panelling details.

The theme was overall minimal with small details, including hints of fur detailing on the neckline and waistcoat of some of the models.

Orange was another strong colour in the colour palettes used. It debuted on pencil skirts and was found on the heel of shoes as well as on cuffs hidden slightly under oversized jackets. Leather panels and lapels were also a key feature, helping to add a hint of toughness to the collection.

One piece that got a reaction of approval from the audience was the shimmery two piece suit. Strong metallic greens and a high neckline really topped of the collection.

Models hair were scraped back into messy ponytails or choppy cuts with blunt fringes.
