Ones To Watch – Fashion Scout A/W 2013

Patrick Li’s Autumn/Winter collection for 2013 featured asymmetric black and white cocktail dresses and matching jackets with a modern twist. The details of these dresses included flashes of glittery fabric and black leather. Li combines sparkle and glamour with a harder ‘rock chic’ leather effect to make his collection a unique clash of styles.

Yulia Kondranina demonstrates how to stylishly shred a couture dress with her collection of floor length evening dresses. Kondranina repeats the same ‘shredded’ look in varied colours on elegant backless gowns, with deep plunging V-necks and details that cleverly manipulate the fabric to create an origami style effect.

The final collection in Fashion Scout’s Autumn/Winter ‘One’s To Watch’ was Yeashin. Kim Yeashin combined a variety of fabrics and textures to create a really unique collection. As in any of her previous collections, she combines darker and bright colours, mostly purple, earthy brown, orange, white and bright green to give the collection a cute and playful look. Dresses with contrasting coloured collars; pleats and frilly details made the models look like colourful china dolls. Comfy looking knitwear and vibrant tassels and pom-poms and matching hats added to the adorable style.
