CPPD with New Look Employees

Arriving bright and early on Thursday morning, seven New Look employees completed a CPPD course with Fashion Enter.  Led by Production Manager Caroline and CEO Jenny Holloway, the pair led the course which enabled the group to see a live working factory and become educated in the health and safety requirements, crucial elements of running a successful business and the garment manufacturing process.

Following a general introduction of the company which highlighted each sister business and the part it plays, Caroline led the group on a tour of the factory.  Ensuring they were able to physically see the whole production process, Caroline started with the pattern cutting process, before moving on to to introduce the employees to some of our skilled seamstresses.  From here she explained the importance of the quality control area and showed our guests how checks are carried out.

Jenny Holloway then continued to lead the group around the rest of the factory introducing them to a range of different people all who have different roles and parts to play within the company.  From Rosie and Kasia in the Fashion Studio, to Eve and Beth in the Patterns room, followed by the Stitching Academy and Fashion Technology Academy the team were able to see exactly what we do.
