CPPD with New Look Continues

24-08-2015

This time the group included footwear and accessories Buying Admin Assistants as well as design assistants and BAA’s within knitwear, denim, tailoring and going out. They were all provided with an in-depth overview of the garment life cycle and exactly how a factory operates which was a real eye opener for the group.

Once again great feedback was received:

“Really good information about how a factory works. Well structured, organised and interesting.”  Erika

“Insight into the manufacturing industry and the processes within a factory to construct an order from start to finish. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.” Cheryl

“I feel really privileged to have met Jenny as I think she is such an inspiration. From a personal level her acknowledgment and supporting words are a real pleasure to hear, as I think it is very easy to underestimate what may be deemed as menial tasks, that as an entry level BAA, we do every day without thought. Thank you so much for such an informative and inspiring day.” Lauren

“I have learnt the breakdown of costing and time taken on making a garment and what to look out for when visiting factories. Amazing course and everything is explained extremely well.” Chelsea

“A great insight into factories and what is involved in running a factory. I didn’t realise how much work goes into one garment!” Mollie

We look forward to welcoming the next group from New Look!
