Caris Summer Play Scheme Visit Fashion Enter
26-01-2025
The Caris Summer Play Scheme is a free charity that enables homeless families, children and young people to build community networks and aims to improve their access to health, education and social provision.
Having donated garments to the scheme, the organisers were keen to bring a group of children to visit the Fashion Enter Factory to see what goes on behind closed doors. The visit also presented the opportunity for parents to find out about employment and training opportunities, as well as our level one courses that are free to those unemployed and living in London.
Welcoming the group to the factory, Production Manager Caroline Ash led a tour of the factory, explaining how garments are made here at Fashion Enter. From pattern to finished garment, the children found it amazing to see!
As a social enterprise, we were extremely happy to welcome Caris Summer Play Scheme to our HQ. Knowing that our donations have made a difference fills us with joy!
