Just six more days until we can re-open the FC Designer Collective shop doors! We have truly missed being a part of this creative family where local designers can collaborate and sell their designs. Please note that we will be open from Tuesday 13th April. Alongside unique one-off fashion and accessory designs we also offer gifts, fabrics and haberdashery with an on-site alteration and repair service.

Sewing Masterclasses with Leyla
Also taking place at the shop our super experienced sewing expert Leyla will be on hand for alterations and masterclass sessions. Learn how to sew in these informal and fun masterclasses with Leyla:

A Full ‘Gerber’ House
It is fantastic to see a full class of Gerber students in today upskilling their pattern cutting knowledge ready for the production workplace. If you are interested in joining the next 3-day course then we have places available for the 7th – 9th June. Tap here for more details.

In this latest short video Fashion-Enter CEO Jenny Holloway explains what the company does on a day-to-day basis. Apart from being a SMETA and Fast Forward approved British garment factory, Fashion-Enter also provides a range of apprenticeships, courses, mentoring and projects that supports those starting out in industry.
New Apprenticeship Positions Now Available
We currently have apprenticeship positions with Mountain Warehouse in London, Fashion-Enter in Newtown, Wales and Adero located in Poplar Works, London, E14. Positions range from Studio Assistant Apprentice and Trainee Machinist to Garment Tech. To view and apply for these positions tap here.

In Discussion…The Future of Fashion
Fashion-Enter’s CEO Jenny Holloway will be joining an array of industry experts for a ‘Future Fashion Factory’ virtual discussion on Thursday 15th April. The panel will explore the issues impacting our changing sector and share in the conversation about what will shape the future of the fashion industry. Speakers joining Jenny include: Fashion designer Joshua Kane, Patrick Grant, founder of Community Clothing, Danielle Elsener, zero waste fashion designer, Laura Culligan, Global Director of Strategy, Burberry and Shailja Dubé, British Fashion Council Institute for Positive Fashion.
