Fashion Studio Items Take to the Catwalk

London Fashion Week is often touted as the place to ‘discover new talent’ and experience unbridled creativity, and yes, while this is still evident for SS25, there are brands that are providing that sweet spot of commercial appeal combined with a contemporary aesthetic. Creativity is a wonderful thing but brands do need to sell products to thrive. Step forward menswear brand Derrick. FEL’s Fashion Studio team have been working closely with him to develop his collections and his work is already gaining high profile recognition.

Fashion Studio Coordinator, Molly Partridge attended Derrick’s NEWGEN LFW catwalk presentation (pictured above and below) on The Strand, she said: “The show was incredibly atmospheric and a culmination of hard work from both Luke and the Studio team. Seeing the garments on the catwalk gave me a great sense of pride for our pattern cutters and machinists who assisted with the realisation of this Raincheck SS25 collection. Luke is a very gifted designer and we are overjoyed at the response to his work and success he is having, we are eagerly looking forward to what he designs next and how we can help bring these to life.”

Congratulations to Derrick, all of his designs, except for the knitwear, were proudly made at FEL’s Fashion Studio in north London. The team would also like to congratulate FC Designer Workspace resident Dreaming Eli (pictured below) on her sensuous LFW presentation.
