Preparing for the Catwalk

In January the FEL Fashion Studio team worked with Australian artist, Tahlia Stanton, on her GENT London Origins designs for SS23. This Friday 17th February 2023, Tahlia’s designs will showcase on the catwalk, along with other collaborating artists at the GENT London fashion show at Soho House. Good luck to Tahlia and GENT London, the FEL team can’t wait to see the designs strutting up and down the catwalk.
Friday marks the start of London Fashion Week with five days of shows, presentations and events dotted around the capital, check back on FashionCapital for news and reviews.

New Diploma in Fashion Design and Business

How many times have we seen a highly creative designer launch to critical acclaim only to close the business a year or two later? A look at the London Fashion Week schedule over the years is very telling with brand names that have come and gone. Launching a brand is a business and for it to succeed with longevity knowledge is required on both a creative and business level. That is why we have devised a new course UAL Level 3 Diploma in Creative Practice: Fashion Design and Business. Tap here to find out more.
Community Renewal Fund – Successes and Impacts

Last Friday 10th February, Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL) Deputy CEO, Jackie Bertram and Educational Assistant Manager, Divya Kamath, attended a Community Renewal Fund ‘Successes and Impacts’ celebration at the City Hall in Leicester. This morning, 15th February, Central News reported on how Leicester City Council had successfully utilised the Community Renewal Fund to support local communities and industry. And Finally…

We have staff members that have family ties to Turkey and Syria, and we are all, of course saddened by the horrific devastation caused by the earthquake for both countries. For those that want to donate and help, no matter how small, we are donating to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), British Red Cross Earthquake appeal, tap here to visit the website.
