10th January 2018

Dear all,

LFW Men’s

Last weekend London Fashion Week descended on the capital with its ‘men’s’ edition. While the schedule was low on ‘big names’ the focus was very much on diversity and new, emerging talent in the sector. Highlights included Alex Mullins, Christopher Raeburn and Charles Jeffery. Click here for daily reports. A big thank-you to reporters Sophie Lau and India Hunnikin.

Jenni & James Update

Last week we mentioned that our Development Director Jenni Sutton and her fiancée James were featured in the ‘Evening Standard’ after James was threatened with deportation after a paperwork error.
Jenni comments: “I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their kind words and support following the news my partner James was about to be deported last week! Due to the media coverage we have now been able to communicate with the Home Office and have received further legal advice ensuring this does not happen! Thank you to Jenny and Fashion Enter for not only the letter of support needed as part of our new application but the emotional support and understanding at this very testing time!”

Derry Designer Business Start Up Programme

Yesterday 15 local, Derry designers pitched their brand concept to an industry panel that included our very own Jenny Holloway.

“Wow! The designers in Derry (Ireland) are flying! The panel reviewed 15 new and emerging designers and one attribute clearly shined through – TALENT! Today we announce the winners who will be coming to the bright lights of London town in February!” Jenny Holloway
