Showcasing at Source Fashion

Members of the FEL team have just got back from exhibiting at Source Fashion at Olympia London, a trade show that showcases manufacturers from key sourcing regions around the world.

FEL CEO, Jenny Holloway joined Angela Gaskill, Head of Sourcing and Buying at NBrown on stage for a live discussion on the importance of collaboration to create circular production and reduce waste. One of the key topics covered was the impact returns has on business and how to reduce this through technology.

Meanwhile, on the FEL stand the team promoted FEL’s production services, including its innovative micro-factory capabilities along with courses and the new Styleverse Innovation Centre due to open later this year.

Coming Soon Styleverse Innovation Centre

We’re delighted to confirm that FEL will be collaborating with Style3D on a state of the art Styleverse Innovation Centre that will combine the very latest technologies in fashion today.

Courses are being compiled that will be aimed at designers, buyers and garment technicians to maximise the benefits from the software.

There will be over 5,000 digital assets that have full patterns available that can be manipulated with ease, plus a fabric studio that automatically scans in the properties of the fabric so it’s fit for purpose for the pattern and construction.

Currently plans are being drawn for the studio space – date of opening will be announced in due course.
