Lib Dem MP Hari Prabu Visits FEL HQ

On 27th June Fashion-Enter Ltd HQ in Haringey was visited by the local Liberal Democrats candidate Harry Prabu. As the UK general election hots up and polling day nears MP’s have been doing their local rounds to drum up support and voice their manifestos.

Hari was keen to meet with FEL’s CEO Jenny Holloway at FEL’s factory in Haringey. He commented:

“It was a pleasure to meet Fashion-Enter, see the great work they are producing and learn more about the challenges facing the garment manufacturing industry in the UK. I was very impressed to see the local jobs Fashion-Enter are supporting here in Tottenham and their commitment to sustainability. We should all do more to support businesses like Fashion-Enter, which are vital to our economy, civil society and creative talent pipeline, by supporting them against late payments, high rents and taxes, and excessive international outsourcing. The Liberal Democrats are committed to our creative industries and would scrap business rates to support all small businesses.”
