Laetitia explains what Sundown Society is all about: ‘I’m Laetitia, the founder of the studio. I’m a French free-lance product designer living in North London. Wondering why I could never find anything to dress comfortably and in style when staying in, I decided to apply my design skills to the neglected area of home outfits.

‘My aim is to design cool and conscious clothing to chill and sleep in. No more embarrassing moments at the breakfast table, and when you work from home, being well-dressed gives you that kick of productivity we all need. I’m passionate about other creatives’ routines and free-lancing environments. On my blog I proudly chronicle how other women designers fuel creativity at home.

‘The Sundown Society team fight against self-negligence, faded tracksuits and passion-killer outfits. Ever felt embarrassed opening the door to the Deliveroo guy? Or slightly awkward when your neighbour calls unexpected? We understand, comfort first. But socially unacceptable home outfits are not inevitable. Life’s too short of awkward evening outfits. As London creatives, we favour bold prints and classy cuts that make you feel good and radiant at home. Bye bye Grandpa’s pyjamas, hello hybrid clothing perfect to free-lance or Netflix-binge (we all do it, it’s ok).’

All of Sundown Society’s pieces are designed in Islington, printed in Wembley and manufactured in Haringey in small batches. Sustainable fabric and quality design that lasts are combined with Sundown Society’s vibrant and yet comfortable aesthetic.
