Fashion Enter Join Fashions Finest During LFW

The Fashions Finest bi-annual event provides a unique platform for up and coming design talent to show off-schedule during London Fashion Week. Held in the heart of London the two-day event includes fashion shows, talks, and an exhibition. This season, SS19, the Fashion Enter team were also on-hand to provide industry support and advise on all things production. From expanding your skillset to providing sampling and small-runs.

 

Zac, trainee manager at Fashion Enter’s Factory comments:

“This is the first fashion event I went to and I really enjoyed working with Gee on our stand at Fashion Finest. We met some talented designers who are looking to improve their own pattern cutting skills and want to learn how to stitch too. This is the best way to be a designer – to fully understand production and to be independent and able make your own patterns and collections. It was a great event and we are thankful to Deborah for inviting us to such a busy show.”

 

Georgia (Gee) Fletcher, garment tech apprentice, added:

“I loved being at this event. It was busy the entire day and we met lots of bloggers and press who were genuinely interested in our social enterprise and how we help people better themselves. I am an apprentice myself and I have been with the company for over 9 months. I am really enjoying learning new and interesting parts about garment technology every day.

“Having a live factory means that each garment has new challenges and opportunities. I would encourage anyone thinking of having a career in fashion to consider technical skills over a degree!”

Over 35 designers showcased on the Fashions Finest catwalk and while the popular ‘Let’s Talk Fashion Business’ panel discussed inclusivity in the fashion industry.
