2 New Brands to Behold

For Spring/Summer 2018, a number of the most innovative and covetable fashions can be found via upcoming designers, whose sartorial styles from alluring simplicity to deconstructed sophistication are more than worthy of being spotlighted. Look out for these two latest brands as they are sure to soon be on everyone’s fashion radar…
ATLEIN
A French fashion house that is located in the heart of Paris, Atlein was established by designer Antonin Tron. Born and raised in the city that is most synonymous with being the style capital of the world, Antonin was educated at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. The designer’s concept is engaged with the body, along with its tension, energy and movement, employing an individual and humanist zeitgeist.
Showing signs of longevity, Antonin Tron has attained fashion experience with none-other than Nicolas Ghesquiere, where his tailoring that arrives soft and sculptural along with his refined sensuality transpires as the brand’s signature. Staples include jersey pieces, which emerge as gently warped and form-fitting, along with his crisply utilitarian tailoring.
ROKH
A former ready-to-wear designer at Céline under the creative direction of Phoebe Philo, Rok Hwang established ROKH in 2015. His shirts that arrive loose fitting along with the brand’s brilliant line of accessories reflect the appeal and sartorial similarities of Céline. Rok Hwang’s aesthetic offers a sense of deconstructed elegance, a signature vision that has already awarded him with a bevvy of supporters and stockists.
The recipient of the 2010 MA Womenswear from Central Saint Martins, Hwang’s brand reflects an unorthodox sensuality combined with a raw attitude, illustrating pieces that will additionally conjure a timeless, classic spirit. Idyllically executed are ROKH’s distorted plaids and multi-panel trenches, all outfitted in an alluring, contemporary neutral colour palette that will compliment any women’s wardrobe.
