Fashion Technology Franchise Opportunity
Due to the enormous success of The Fashion Technology Academy and the demand for a skilled work force in the fashion and textiles industry – the FTA are now offering the following franchise opportunity.
Franchisees will have access to the collection of courses we have created including unit workbooks and a bank of 120 videos we have created that link to course content.
This is all contained within our Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle). The VLE neatly ties course content together using a variety of interactive learning materials and resources. This enables teachers to catalogue learner progress using the online tracking facility removing the need for time consuming spreadsheets and lengthy paperwork.

A Visit From the School of Social Entrepreneurs
On 14th December a cohort of students from the School of Social Entrepreneurs visited Fashion Enter for a two-hour workshop lead by Jenny Holloway on the highs and lows of running a social enterprise.
The students all in the very early stages of their concepts were given an eye opening insight into what it really takes to make a social enterprise succeed today. Jenny spoke on both a very personal level taking the students through her journey but also on what Fashion Enter as a business has become and its vision for the future. Following the talk the students were given a tour of The Factory and the Fashion Technology Academy so they could see first-hand what has been achieved since 2006.
‘I have learnt so much from this session. I have learnt to follow my dream and not give up. I appreciate everything Jenny spoke on. It was a very lovely opportunity to have been here.’ Dennis
‘If you aim for the sun you get the sun, you aim for the moon you get the moon, the sky’s the limit! Jenny has opened my eyes and kept me positive with what I am trying to gain.’ Derina

The Latest from the Fashion Studio
Rosie says: ‘This week in the studio we are working with the lovely team from ADAY, they have been longstanding clients of the Fashion Studio and always a pleasure to work with.
We asked Millie one of their Designers about the brand and how it has developed over the years.’
Millie: “ADAY is an e-commerce brand designing staple ready-to-wear apparel from technologically advanced fabrics. We believe your wardrobe deserves to be as technical as your activewear so we’re reimagining your everyday staples with intelligent fabrics, construction and design. After launching in June 2015, we’ve been featured in publications including FastCompany, Harper’s Baazar, with Cool Hunting suggesting that we could be mistaken for a “minimalist contemporary fashion brand.

“As a young company it is important for us to work with partners we can trust. For example, we have just set up our New York office, which means we have relied heavily on Fashion Enter to be flexible and supportive due to the distance between us. Our creativity doesn’t just stop when we hand over the design to our factories. Experimentation and sampling is an integral part of our process and we work together closely with the sampling and production team to create solutions by sampling new fabrications and techniques. Working with factories that do no limit our creativity is integral to our design process – we love that there is always something to learn and new problems to solve.”
