Newsletter 23rd November 2016
Dear all,
Today we are talking PR on two counts: First up our in-house PR seminar is well underway with London Fashion Agency Director Rosie Davies. She has been advising on those all-important questions: How to work with bloggers? How to affectively use social media? How to achieve magazine coverage? PR is crucial to the success of a fashion business and we thank Rosie for collaborating with us to provide this insightful seminar.
Meanwhile, CEO Jenny Holloway and June Sarpong’s Ldny apprentices are at the London Stock Exchange to promote the brands Dress to Invest collection. Coinciding with National Equal Pay Day June and her team are certainly on the ball when it comes to PR and marketing.

Jenny Holloway comments: “We wish June, her team and her fabulous six apprentices a great launch today. I believe this is a first for The London Stock Exchange! I don’t know how June does it…but never stop June!”

Jenny Holloway comments:“It was so good to have Nick Beighton coming to visit the Factory and FTA with Simon, Camile and Tammy. We have come a long way since we started Fashion Apprenticeships with ASOS.com in 2008. We simply wouldn’t be here without them and today we’re employing over 100 people, producing 7,000 garments a week for ASOS (and expanding) and we have the first Fashion Technology Academy in Europe. Every company needs a champion to believe in them. We’re so grateful to be supported by ASOS.”
Anne Tayler’s Children’s Centre Educational Visit
After recently developing a contract with East London, Fashion Enter was invited to Anne Tayler’s Children’s Centre in London Fields, Hackney to advertise and discuss the education services offered by the FTA. Education Manager Esme attended the event on behalf of the company.
On her visit Esme commented: “Mothers showed interest in what we do in our Fashion Technology Academy and the different courses we offer. Some had pre-existing skills and wanted to refresh their knowledge to boost their chances in the job market, others were interested in learning how to stitch to mend their children’s school uniforms. It was enlightening to see committing to a course which could potentially change their lives whilst juggling childcare being single mothers.”

Boutique Pick of the Week
We were super impressed by the ethics of Sports Philosophy founded by Stella and Matthias, as seen at the recent Felicities PR and press event. These leggings are made with recycled material, Econyl, and designed to be high-waisted with a light compression fit to assist with blood flow. Combined with the brands signature print design and reflective artwork, it offers a fresh combination between fashion and performance.
