FashionCapital is excited to announce its return to the finest textiles event in the UK – The Knitting & Stitching Show! Taking place from 7th – 11th October at Alexandra Palace we are offering FashionCapital users money off tickets to gain entry to the show (See below for details).
A knitters and stitchers paradise you can shop for an array of fabrics, threads, patterns, sewing machines and much more from over 400 companies, admire the work of fashion & textiles graduates in the Graduate Showcase, learn to knit with Make Do & Mend, see daily fashion shows hosted by Coats and learn a new skill in the Learning Curve, offering hundreds of workshops in different subjects.
FashionCapital will once again be taking visitors on an interactive and informative journey that reveals each stage of garment production from initial idea through to delivery of finished goods.
For those interested in pursuing a career in fashion, we will also host talks and demonstrations on Levels 1 and 2 Stitching Academy, Level 1 Perfect Pattern Cutting course as well as Levels 2, 3 and 4 Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeships. For those who would simply like to learn a new skill or brush up on existing dressmaking skills Taster Courses will also be available, all taking place at The Fashion Technology Academy in North London.
