Thanks to all that came along to our very first FashionCapital MeetUp last Thursday. Our guest speaker Caren Downie (pictured right) comments:
“What a great event the MeetUp was! The Big Black Sofa interview is such a good idea – getting up close and personal in relaxed surroundings at the Factory. Sorry I didn’t get to talk to everyone but I didn’t expect there would be so many of you: over 80 I think. I really hope I was helpful to people with their projects, I tried to provide really honest and genuine information. Thanks to all who arranged such a fab night.”
The Next Fashion MeetUp will be announced soon…

Fashion Retail Academy at the Factory

This week at Fashion Enter we will see 160 Fashion Business and Retail students from the Fashion Retail Academy visit the Factory.
Yesterday we welcomed two cohorts of FRA students and gave each group an insight into garment production and how a UK manufacturer can produce 10,000 garments a week.
The students, only three weeks into their course, were given the opportunity to see first-hand the processes of the supplier which they will now be able to relate to their studies as the course progresses.
“I have learnt what makes the factory SMETA approved. Very informative and a good experience.” Kiodina
We look forward to welcoming more students. This is such an important part of their learning experience!
