The year ahead looks promising for the fashion industry across the board; with an increase in apprenticeship posts, growth in British based manufacturing and further demand for British products overseas the time is now to make your mark on this rapidly evolving industry. Real hands-on learning and skills development is at the heart of our manufacturing industry and we are very excited to be opening the first Fashion Technology Academy in the early part of 2015 in collaboration with ASOS.com and Haringey Council. The Fashion Technology Academy is an extension of the successful Stitching Academy that now includes new qualifications that incorporates pattern making, fabric inspection, laying and cutting, quality control, machine maintenance and stitching.
The Academy along with a series of in-house projects such as bethebest@NatWest, apprenticeship placements and key one-to-one mentoring will continue to evolve throughout 2015 alongside our Factory, Fashion Studio and Stitching Academy, we are indeed looking forward to the year ahead.

We will be working closely with The Albion Knitting Company Ltd – the first high quality production flat-bed knitter in London since the 1940’s, to provide suitable apprentices and candidates for key job positions within the company.
