Dear All,

There’s no
escaping Christmas mania and with less than a week to go retailers are banking
on those last minute purchases. Apparently e-tailer’s are faring up nicely with
a year-on-year increase in online sales both in the UK and the States. Looks
like armchair shopping is really taking off – who needs to face the cold and
crowds in this day and age!

Online
Boutique Special Offer

In the
spirit of giving we have a gift offer of our very own. Ever wanted your own
unique online boutique to sell your latest designs and promote your label? Well
now you can with the all new and improved FashionCapital Boutique. Due to
launch at the end of this month the FashionCapital Boutique provides designers
with their own boutique webpage which they can update as and when required. For
those interested the cost is £250 plus VAT but for a limited period only we are
offering boutique space with a 50% discount. To make the most of this
opportunity and apply for a boutique you need to contact Vanessa at vanessa@fashioncapital.co.uk
before the end of January 2008.

Croydon
College Designs at Enter Boutique

Last week
saw the launch of the fabulous T-shirt designs from Croydon College fashion
students at the Croydon branch of Enter Boutique. Local press engaged and it
was great to see such a vibe occurring with the talented 26 fashion designers.
Their t-shirts now have pride of place at the Croydon store with their own
dedicated area and already the tills have been ringing!

Gayle
Atkins Course Head of Croydon College said: “This particular series of Getting
It Right First Time has surpassed all expectations. The project with TopShop
head office team of Caren Downie and Rachel Proud has taken the seminars to new
heights and all the students have derived real benefit from this series of
seminars and workshops. Some of the designers are now keen to have their own
label especially the six winners from Daisy May who will be having their stock
sold at TopShop, Oxford Street. Our grateful thanks to Jenny for all her hard
efforts here too – it’s all certainly paid off!”

The
students will have their t-shirts stocked at the Croydon Enter boutique for the
next two months after which time the winning brand will be announced based on
number of units sold.

T-shirts
are on sale now and are priced between £25 and £45 pounds – each one is
exclusive and lovingly made!
