The Face of Croydon Round 2

12-03-2008
The highly successful model competition ‘The Face of Croydon’ is back for a second round. Last year the event attracted 300 young individuals, of which 60 were shortlisted, for the chance to take part in a professionally styled photo shoot. This time ‘The Face of Croydon’ has teamed up with Arista Cosmetics in the search to find three new faces to represent the brand.

The new Arista Cosmetics brand is a collection of premium quality products for all women of colour. The brand has been produced using the finest natural ingredients and is one of the only limited brands to have an entire range of colours with both yellow and red undertones. Almost all women with exotic skin tones, from the lightly tanned to the very dark, have yellow or red skin undertones, and Arista’s Platinum foundations and Luminous Face powders not only blend quite naturally but match those skin tones perfectly and flawlessly.
After Naomi Campbell’s highly publicized campaign requesting that the fashion industry should represent more models of colour along comes this fantastic opportunity with ‘The Face of Croydon’ and Arista Cosmetics. Three new faces are needed to promote the range; one Black, one Asian and one Latin. Winners will also score agency representation, gain lashings of exposure, plus a selection of prizes.
