THE LIBERTY SUPPORTS PROFILE – NEW DESIGNERS
The Liberty Shopping Centre continuously works hard to create a positive shopping environment for its customers. It is known for its dedication to its shoppers and its community, providing a great shopping, events and style/fashion experience. With footfall of 22 million and 95% let capacity of its 100+ shops, it is bucking the trend.
The Liberty also goes the extra mile to support up and coming fashion designers, with events like the annual fashion design competition for students and assisting in retail employment via its job fairs.
Essex based centre, The Liberty will be supporting Lauren Goodger from ‘The only way is Essex’ (who is being assisted by Fashion Capital) and some of the UK’s hottest new design talent when they take to the catwalk at the Profile fashion show on 10th November, which will be held at One Marylebone.
Profile fashion show is organised by Fashion Capital a not for profit company committed to supporting enterprise within the fashion industry. Profile showcases some of the best new and emerging designers in the UK, widely considered as the industry bridge between Graduate week and London Fashion week.
David Collins, General Manager of The Liberty Shopping Centre, commented, “We are glad to be supporting Profile as it is a fantastic opportunity for emerging designers. In addition to Profiles event, designer Lauren Goodger will be showcasing her range at The Liberty Shopping Centre on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th November, we hope that her talent and determination inspires shoppers within our community to pursue their dreams within the retail and fashion industry”.
Commenting on the launch of ‘Lauren’s Way’, Lauren Goodger said: “I have always loved fashion! This is why I am so excited about designing my very own Lauren’s Way collection. I want anyone that wears my designs to feel gorgeous! I want it to be affordable and suited to the curvier woman as well.
