Introducing Jane & Marilyn

 

February saw the launch of new online fashion label, Jane & Marilyn. Providing grown up glamour for real women, the first Jane & Marilyn collection features 10 dress designs in a variety of colours; from essential black to jewel brights and flattering neutrals.  Taking inspiration from the partnership of Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe and the gorgeous clothes of the 1950s, the brand should appeal to women of all ages. “Today’s woman is savvy. The old style Hollywood polish and glamour is as flattering today as it was in the 1950’s and our collection aims to re-create this sophisticated, feminine look while meeting the demands of modern day life.” All the dresses are made in the UK, from pure wool, silk or cotton; they are also fully lined in pure silk – in most cases in the brand’s signature lipstick red. An Atelier service is also available from Jane & Marilyn.
