Since opening in 2011 the Boxpark plays home to over 50 low cost, trendy stores. Following the huge success of the East London mall, Boxpark is set to open a second site in the city of Croydon, South London. Come Summer 2016, Ruskin Square, located minutes away from East Croydon’s train station, will be home to Boxpark Croydon. Covering over two million square feet of space, the project will cost over 500 million, hosting over 80 units to both established companies and newcomer brands.

Promising both a ‘unique shopping and dining destination’ Boxpark is expanding further to offer shoppers a click and collect service. Boxpark Marketplace will allow customers to shop for products and goods online and via mobile. Hoping to put Croydon on the map as a London shopping destination, the mall is set to generate over 200 new jobs, a surge of visitors to Croydon and a range of apprenticeship opportunities.
Boxpark founder and CEO Roger Wade commented, “Croydon is one of the last London boroughs to be developed. Stratford, White City and Nine Elms have all seen recent new developments. I want everyone to rethink their view of Croydon.”
With Councillor and Deputy Leader of Croydon Council Alison Butler added, “This is great news for Croydon residents and a real sign of the progress and regeneration that is happening in our borough. Boxpark will help attract more visitors to the area and provide a fantastic shopping experience.”
