Barking Boutique Blog – 21/12/11

21-12-2011

One thing for sure without all of our many respected designers the Fashion Enter boutique which I manage would be pointless as our main objective is to support and promote our designers and members as much as possible so apologies for being very quiet lately on our blog section but this has been due to all the pop up shops we have been doing…so far this year we have taken part in many such as Brick lane, Mayfair, Hampstead, Romford, Birmingham and many other locations so if you are a member and would like to take advantage of this in the new year please feel free to contact me at Syreeta@fashion-enter.com

Fashion Enter Barking Boutique itself has had an extremely busy week especially as christmas is approaching so lots has been happening..

We were live on BBC London radio which was fun and also beneficial as the interview went out to thousands of listeners. I was interviewed by Jason Rossam who was an amazing man who kindly came down to the Boutique at the time of Gaby and Paul Ross show and the link can be found on fashion capital website. We spoke about retail and how we have overcome being the victim of economic circumstance. The answer has been “thinking out of the box” not just having a retail unit and waiting for customers to walk in we have had to promote and enhance our many services.

We also launched Lauren Goodger (from Towie) collection in the boutique and laurens clothing line has been number 1 choice for xmas party outfits and xmas dinners especially the long maxi flock dress and after the photoshoot lauren it was featured on the front page on “New” magazine (issue 449) and on page 8 so we are definitely out there.

Made to measures have also been coming in fast for the new year so if anybody needs a bespoke garment created nows the time to contact us as we are nearly fully booked.

I’m in talks tomorrow and have an important meeting regarding expansion in Barking so watch this space…

I’d lastly like to personally thank all of my staff in Barking:

Leyla
Sade
Shanice
Maria
Mambo

Who have all worked extremely hard this year at Barking and have had to adapt to all the big changes we have had and events and ongoing fast progress and obstacles which we have successfully overcome ; especially the change of location which I also have to thank Simon Green and the vicarage field shopping centre team for.

So from all of us in Barking have a wonderful xmas and a happy new year! Can’t wait for 2012 Xxx
