FASHION WEEK BEGINS!

31-10-2011

Yet the team has once again managed to pull through, with orders complete for Belle Sauvage, Rebecca Torres for ASOS, and the ASOS Lace Midi Dress. We are currently still working on the Oasis and Hotsquash orders.

I haven’t actually blogged for a while but the highlights so far have been my Tuesday lessons. I mean I learn so much its actually priceless, and we have the best tutor- the apprenticeship programme is definitely a recommendation. There is a whole load of exciting things coming our way ;-DDD.

I have also met the Debenham’s Team, who were lovely.

Unfortunately, I did not get to go to Vouge Fashion’s Night out – I knew about it, but I actually do not know why, I did not go.

BUT this is one of the biggest weeks in Fashion as LFW SS12 kicks off this Friday, so I have been on a mission to get tickets so far so good considering I did a last min.com.

I have been coming across interesting reads about some of the designers we have worked with that are showcasing at LFW.- Louise Gray did a range for ASOS- the fringe tee style which was a hit.

I also came across the Sunday Times- Style 11/09 issue. The ‘ Economies of Style’, promoting London’s Hottest designers at High-Street PRICES. AND LOOK WHAT I FOUND:-D

Michael Van Der Ham for Topshop                                          Osman for John Lewis.

I’m very proud of The Workshop and Factory as they worked on the production of these garments, and It is a good feeling when you see something you are part of excelling.

I am overly excited about fashion week a bit like a kid in the candy store. This year has so much variety and uniqueness, and the run up to fashion week has been lush, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what next summers trends are.

Have a FAB weekend guys n dolls! I hope I do ;-).

Xoxo Esther.
