Wandsworth Life Long Learning Awards
Held on the 13th October Esme, attended on behalf of Fashion Enter and various Level 3 apprentices that were nominated from the borough.
Esme comments: “During the evening more than 200 residents were presented with certificates of achievement in a variety of subjects including – business administration, information technology, numeracy, book-keeping, literacy and English for speakers of other languages. I thoroughly enjoyed a performance by the ‘Baked Bean Company’, who provide Outstanding Services for People with Learning Disabilities in London (pictured below).
“It was an honour to be invited to the ceremony and represent Fashion Enter. It was such a shame none of our apprentices were able to make it. Learners who we nominated were: Gloria Massamba-Lutama, Jade Hamilton, Melissa Absalud Allada on our Level 3 Advanced apprenticeship.”
“It was a pleasure to see first-hand the impact that Life Long learning has in the community.”
Jenny Holloway CEO of Fashion Enter added: “Working with Wandsworth Council Life Long Learning (WCLLL) has been an eye opener! In the past year a new Assistant Director Andres has worked at the WCLLL and absolute credit to Andres he has pushed us hard! He has brought in new systems and paperwork, which was challenging but this is Andre’s strive for excellence and we have risen to the challenge.
“On a professional and personal level I have really learnt so much over the last 12 months with WCLLL and the evening was a celebration of all that has been achieved. Our thanks to WCLLL for all the development we have been through as a training company and the resulting 2 grade with Ofsted for WCLLL was so deserved.”
