ENNGALDI
Ennigaldi is a new luxury accessories handbag brand conceived and designed in London. All handbags in the range are meticulously crafted and hand finished in Italy by highly skilled artisans, using only the finest materials.
The name Ennigaldi is taken from a Babylonian princess and is a significant figure in ancient history, who was recognised for curating the first museum, A high priestess and a teacher and creative visionary. Ennigaldi’s debut collection is inspired by art and architecture, laser-cut gold Babylonian motifs shaped round geometric architectural designs.
The collection ranges from clutch bags to larger tote shapes, all handbags have the signature gold hardware in the form of a rod and ring symbol. This collection has a range of seven unique designs and has been inspired by the festival of Spring in Ancient Babylon, following the new moon. The designs are decadent and practical and can go from day to night, straps of the shoulder bag can be detachable allowing for multiwear, according to the occasion.
Ennigaldi’s designs arrive in fresh pastel shades that reflect the blue sky and the warmer earthy shades that draw from the landscape and ancient lands of Babylon. Double and trio colour combinations have been introduced into the collection. The Akitu collection is available at their online boutique from February 2017.

Tola Adeagbo and Creative Director John Edwards are the duo behind Floridan London, an exquisite line of luxury handbags that launched in November 2012.

Made from the finest leathers and crafted in Spain with a British sense of humour. These handbags are inspired by British heritage with a modern practical twist of luxury meets affordability. The designs are practical and engineered with thought of how they will be worn and how they will work.
The signature style of the brand is playful and fun, this season’s pop art theme includes personalised limited edition handbags, all have been individually hand painted by a London based artist. The shapes make a statement of confidence and sophistication while remaining practical and transitional.
OKHTEIN
The brand Okhtein was been created by two Egyptian siblings Aya and Mounaz Abdelraouf who have always had a strong passion for fashion, creativity and design. The brand name Okhtein translates into sisters in Arabic, and they were both raised in Cairo. Aya studied communication and media arts, along with digital arts and design, her sister Mounza studied marketing and arts at the same institute.
Launched in 2013, these two sisters saw a niche in the market to bring together luxury and inherit refinement of artisan craftsmanship within their products and designs. All the leather is Egyptian and the range is designed and produced in Egypt, the duo are keen to support Egyptian workers providing cutting edge design on an international level.
Okhtein designs have been seen on many celebrities including Tracey Ellis Ross, Emma Roberts, Emma Watson to name but a few. The bags for their Spring Summer 2017 collection are a unique, discreet round shape with the signature ornate gold motif which is an Egyptian flower, in sumptuous pastel shades. I feel this brand will be around for a long time to come.
