Fashion house elle4lisa is proud to introduce Emmanuelle, the main theme for the couture collection of women’s wear to be presented at the upcoming London Fashion Week show this September.

“Emmanuelle, best played by actress Silvia Kristel, is the lead character in a series of French soft core pornographic movies based on a character created by Emmanuel Arsen in her novel The Joys of a Woman.  Though the explicit scenes pushed the boundaries as to what was acceptable on screen back in 1974, the name Emmanuelle has since become synonymous with erotic films”.

Corresponding with this elle4lisa unveils its creation Pour Femme, the couture collection for spring summer 2008 with the intent to replicate the sentiment from the movies.

With a very pale colour palette, including white, cream, lime green, muted lemon and other pastel shades, this season’s compilation has been carefully selected with extreme attention to detail and finish to incorporate the feminine essence.

The latest range by elle4lisa Pour Femme Couture features pieces such as:  textured herring bone silk bolero crop jackets with multilayered pleats, Icelandic frosty net trimmings adorned with numerous Swarovski crystals, Austrian glass beads and binded edges; all articulating the Creative Director Lisa Kensington-Wright’s aptitude of flawless hand executed techniques.

More from the high impact construction includes heavily dazzling embellishment: southern sea pearl miniature slip on dresses of chiffon and iridescent sequins. 

French silk dresses with fitted cutting, stretch bra’s and double layered edges are also within the design to form a rich and fascinating motion of joyful, infatuation and audaciousness.

The silhouettes will be classic to the house bringing the added feature of pleating, inspired by the late Gianfranco Ferre’work for whom the show is dedicated to. Indeed this is a homage to his brilliance.
