London Fashion Week – Jeffrey Michael
The show started with girly skater style dresses. Pleated at the skirt, the neck was the feature of each dress with pyramids built onto the chest like futuristic architecture. Corsets were a key feature of the show, with one shells covered the entirety of the bodice as well as another covered in the pyramid feature. Each look was very simple but was enhanced by the fabric use of satin that clung and rippled on the body. The electric blue used was brilliant, against the white built pyramids. A mix of pinks and pearls with Perspex triangle cuts outs were seen on a deep V dress. Hot pink hot pants were decorated with ridiculous studs that could poke some ones eye out on front row.
Titled “from the water” the collection was inspired by women of the water. As if they were rising from seafoam on the midnight beach. Triangles were seen again as prints of maxi dresses which is Jeffrey Michael’s signature piece.
