Interview With Designer Min Wu at London Fashion Week

Abbie: Hi Min, amazing collection! So, what age were you when you knew you wanted to be a fashion designer?

Min Wu: 17! I just loved the whole concept of art and definitely knew that I wanted to incorporate this into fashion.

A: Where did you study?

M: I studied in China for my BA and then moved to the UK where I studied at London College of Fashion for my masters.

A: What inspired your collection?

M: Well, I didn’t want a completely white collection, I am totally focused on structure, and I think the dip dye colours I have here suit the concept of detail which I am portraying.

A: So, what are you looking to do in the future, do you have selling/merchandising in mind?

M: No, for now I am only looking to complete my second collection. I really enjoyed making this one so it’s definitely something I want to do again!
