The transition from city to country side is presented through classic dogtooth patterns embossed on tailored ivory coats. Outerwear was key for this A/W collection, focusing on English heritage, wool and brushed tartan mohair were key fabrics which were not only worked into coats but matching top and skirt sets.
Silhouettes included 3/4 length sleeve boxy tops paired back with long line skirts. Outfits were accessorised with matching oversized clutches which had a city-like feel contrasted against a soft colour palette of ivory, greys and blues.

Injections of bright moss green worn with cobalt blues appeared on slim fitting trousers and cocoon coats. The dogtooth pattern was a motif which was the focus of the collection, appearing on silk ombré shirts and matching trouser combo’s, it was also printed onto a top as a feature on an ivory background.
Knitwear was gorgeous, as slouchy bold blue jumper’s hung over circle skirts, with a contrasted ivory back; this made a subtle but key statement that I particularly loved. Dogtooth wasn’t the only pattern to occur; later checks could be seen on winter white coats and more coordinating outfits in thick wools softened by icy white and cool greys.
This collection was certainly wearable and desirable, an easy way to step into winter this season without trying too hard.
