Designers Exhibiting at Profile: Lynnja Wang

 

Describing her style as “quirky chic”, the Chinese-born designer established her own label in London in 2011.

“I always want to dress women beautifully. However, pretty things bore me easily. Therefore, I play beauty with a “twist”.

Fabric plays a very important role in Lynnja Wang’s design. She describes her research process as ‘to listen to the fabric, listen carefully to what they say’. All the secrets whisper between different materials, and lead their way through the whole collection.

Her designs give a hint of elegance. They are not marked by seasons and can be worn again and again for years. They are both whimsical yet wearable, and pretty without being prissy.
