The apprenticeship provides you with technical skills needed as well as hands on experience and helps you to develop your skills in the working world.
Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeship
The fashion and textiles apprenticeship is a great way into the tough fashion industry. The jobs in the industry are vast from designing clothes, to manufacturing, buying or specialising in sportswear! All roles require specialist knowledge which is hard to learn in a classroom and easier to gain with hands on experience.

Photo imaging Apprenticeship
The advanced apprenticeship in photo imaging gives apprentices the chance to gain practical photography skills working in the industry. This can cover photography, image post production, photo retail and retouching!

Set Crafts Apprenticeship
This apprenticeship works on specific skills and technical skills – perfect if you want to work on a film set, designing or building the set.

How Does it Work?
Apprentices are employed by the company and will learn the relevant job as well as spending time at college. Apprentices receive at least minimum wage payment throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.
How Long does it take?
The apprenticeship generally takes between one and two years but this period depends on the employer, the trainer and how long it takes an apprentice to achieve their qualifications.
What will I learn?
Apprentices are given the technical and creative skills needed to build a career in their selected area whilst working towards a recognised qualification. Apprentices will also receive credit for skills valued by employers such as teamwork, health and safety, communications and creative thinking.
Who can apply?
Apprentices must be aged 16 or over and preferably have 5 GCSE’s grades A-C. A positive attitude, dedication and willingness to learn are as important to the scheme as having previous qualifications.
